Connect to Server

If you want to connect to your server, there are several ways to do this. When activating external connections, make sure to activate appropriate security measures such as changing the password beforehand.
If you have problems connecting to the server, in most cases it is because it is either switched off or you have not turned on IPv6 support on your device. Every Internet-enabled device and every router now supports IPv6, but in some cases this still needs to be activated.
Before you activate the remote desktop connection, we recommend changing the Windows password. Currently only you can connect to the server, but as soon as you activate the RDP, everyone can connect. Every server has the same default password.
The Windows Pro license is activated on all of our servers, so every server has the option to activate the RDP function. RDP is a simplified way to connect to the server to enable lower latency and better control of the server.
Each server has an implemented console which you can open in the administration by clicking on the "Open Console" button. There you can switch the server on/off and carry out all actions, even if it is offline. If there are problems with the connection, please check our server status to see if there are currently any problems.
